I am 5' 10" tall and I weigh around 195+ lbs (if I watch my diet) and single. I was born in Philadelphia Pa. (Nov 1956, which makes me really old!). I grew up in Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, West Virginia, and Salt Lake City. I have my Ph.D. in Mining Engineering, and currently doing mine ore reserve verification around the world.. I learned to play hockey at the age of 25 and therefore I am still trying to learn the skills and keep up with the younger player on my team. For some reason this seems harder every year. Although my skills need work, I have played Hockey in Moscow with the elite Red Army Club in Aug of 1991 where I meet some of the best Russian Players and coaches. They were a super bunch of people. I finally broke down and joined an Over 40 team this year (2010) and it is a lot of fun skating with and playing against other players that know that there are no NHLscouts in the stands watcing the games. On the personal side, I love pizza, wings and vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce although I don't eat much ice cream any more. I am good with computers (Daaaa! since I run this web site). I own a home in the mountains west of Denver in Black Hawk but, it needs a lot of work. I travel to a bunch of out of the way places for my job and have spent quite a bit of time in Asia and Central Asia the last couple of year If you want to know a bit more about my hockey or work click on the resume links below. ***Warning*** they might be boring. |
